Webjobs is a feature of Azure App Service that enables you to run a program or script in the same instance as a web app, API app, or mobile app. Since this runs as part of the same instance as the Web App, there is no additional cost to use Webjobs.
In simple words It is same as Old task scheduler method which most of the folks might have used across globe on their physical VM’s.
There are few limitations too currently WebJobs are yet ready for Linux based WebApps.
Currently WebJobs are hosted as 2 different types
This article talks about how to migrate your Azure Functions from Consumption plan to App Service plan. As most of the developers when they start their journey with Azure Functions they start with Consumption.
However during the course the requirement will increase and they have to scale the plan. currently most of the articles gives the solution as
So lets start
So i have selected plan as…
In this article i am going to talk about CI/CD process for deploying SAP Hybris and Spartacus to end systems.
One of the biggest challenge anyone faces with respect to deployment is lack of documentation as most them talks about pipelines using Jenkins. In order to setup there are some pre-requisites as you need to have latest zip files from SAP.
In this case i am using below files.
Make sure you add these 3 zip files onto your AzureDevOps code repo.
Now lets start creating…
One of the frequently asked questions how do we monitor state of any Windows Services which are running inside any Azure VM’s.
One of the best options for monitoring of services across Windows and Linux leverages using Azure Log Analytics.
In this approach we will be looking step by step approach to get any Windows Service state.
Application security groups enable you to configure network security as a natural extension of an application’s structure, allowing you to group virtual machines and define network security policies based on those groups. You can reuse your security policy at scale without manual maintenance of explicit IP addresses. The platform handles the complexity of explicit IP addresses and multiple rule sets, allowing you to focus on your business logic.
Application Security Groups helps to manage the security of Virtual Machines by grouping them according the applications that runs on them. …
I want to talk about how you can test and simulate Integration between Onpremise Active Directory to Azure Active Directory. This article talks about step by step process to achieve the same.
What differentiates today’s thriving organizations?
For any Organization :

•Companies that take advantage of data opportunities have the potential to outperform those that do not
•Data Comes in all forms & sizes is being generated faster than ever before.
•Capture & combine it for new insights & better, faster decisions
Enormous amounts of data comes from different places and its a combination of many items
In this article we will be talking about HTTP Security headers which can safeguard all your WebApp/API services in Azure environment. As security plays a very important role in terms of any LOD architecture. Most of the times developers tend to forget to apply all these minor security rules and these will be captured by either some Penetration Testing team or by LOD (Line of Defense).
HTTP security headers provide yet another layer of security by helping to mitigate attacks and security vulnerabilities by telling your browser how to behave. In this post we will be diving more in-depth into…
What is User Defined Routing:
It allows you to create network routes so that your Azure Virtual Appliances can handle the traffic both between your subnets and to the Internet. For the network interfaces to be allowed to receive and forward traffic, IP forwarding must be enabled. When different route types are present in a UDR route table, user defined routes are preferred over the default system routes. When multiple routes match the destination, the more specific route is used.
Requirements to create User defined routing
What is Azure Search:
Microsoft Azure Search is a component of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform providing indexing and querying capabilities for data uploaded to Microsoft servers. The Search as a service framework is intended to provide developers with complex search capabilities for mobile and web development while hiding infrastructure requirements and search algorithm complexities. Azure Search is a recent addition to Microsoft’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) approach.
Azure Search is an API based service that provides REST APIs via protocols such as OData or integrated libraries such as the .NET SDK. …
