Thank you yes it will work for job clusters as well. As a basic thumb rule clusters run jobs and pools so you can see everything . Next part of your question yes it will start .. gather the details and terminate once you get required details.

If you want this to be run on regular intervals you can schedule it via your ci cd pipelines or using any task schedule from where your azure portal should be accessible as it has to fetch bearer token and do authentication with your management scope.
